OUTSIDER MAIL ART
GRANT HILBERT

1938 – 1939

Columbus, OH

In 1938 and 1939, the wife and/or daughter of Grant Hilbert, mailed him hand-drawn, rebus-like, post-marked, envelopes from Columbus, Ohio to various locations where he was living in Toledo — charming pre-cursers to the Pop, Mail Art, of the 1960’s.

Price - $3000 for three drawings framed together.
